Well my friends, I am stickin' it to the Man! Maybe not quite the same way as the hilarious Jack Black does in School of Rock but I am stickin' it anyway! Who is the Man in my case? Baby memory book-makers of course.
Case-in-point. Look at these baby books:
Ya, ya some of you might be coo-ing over how cute they look but no baby book currently out on the market was exactly what I had envisioned for recording my pregnancy with Jackson. So I'm picky? I refuse to believe it! I think the market is just two dimensional and stereotypical. I say out with the pastel baby colors and character themed books and in with personalized pages and colors fit for any personality.
After fuming for weeks (and even giving in and buying one of the horrible baby books) I had an epiphany I would make my own baby book so it would be exactly what I wanted!
Although I am still adding photos and most of the pages can't be filled out until the little Peanut makes his big arrival, I wanted to share my progress. The book is navy/orange with a cute little Owl on every page to match his nursery. (Another project that has yet to be started...)
